Meet Your Host
Welcome to Houston! I’m Mike, and I’ve been proud to call this city home for practically my entire life. Whether you are here for business, a weekend getaway, or an extended stay, I'm thrilled to host you at Blue Sky Rentals.
After a career in the oil and gas industry, I transitioned into real estate full-time over six years ago. As an owner of both long-term and short-term properties, I know firsthand what separates a mediocre stay from a truly exceptional one. My team and I are dedicated to providing a seamless, high-quality experience so you can relax the moment you walk through the door.
As an avid traveler myself, I understand the small details that make a rental feel like home. When I’m not working on real estate, you can usually find me hitting the gym, exploring new travel destinations, or unwinding with a great glass of wine. I'm always happy to share my insider recommendations to help you experience the very best of Houston.

Great place to stay with our children and dog. The hosts Lynn and Michael were super responsive, helpful, and proactive on making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. When we arrived, we were unable to locate darts for the dart board or balls for the foosball table. The Hosts responded right away and had those replacement items sent to the house next day. We loved the whole set up of the home and was cozy/spacious enough for our family of 7 plus our dog.

A lovely home with welcoming amenities: a well supplied coffee and tea station in a fully equipped kitchen with gas stovetop griddle; dish soap, shower products and hand soaps, laundry and dishwasher detergent pods. There is a great family space for movie viewing on an expansive couch upstairs, and a large capacity washer and dryer. Do note, however, that the upstairs is difficult to access for persons with mobility issues. The beds are comfortable with ample pillows. And the air conditioning works fine. Michael Grant's Maple Vista Home is a good, clean place for a family, for couples traveling together or for a small group. And while some Airbnb hosts are absent, Michael and Angela are just a message away and quick to respond should you need them.
